Philosophy
At Wildfire Design we believe that a web site is a key element of
an organization's marketing. The World Wide Web has changed the way
people gather information about a company or organization before
they engage in a (business) relationship. You have chosen to gather
information online - the fact that you are reading this page proves
that. More and more people do the same thing. More than 50% of car
buyers go online before they purchase a vehicle. For home buyers
the numbers exceed 80%. Companies are also turning to the Web,
as it saves time and gives them a better idea of a possible vendor
than they would be able to gain via more traditional ways.
The old saying "you should not judge a book by its cover" may
be true, but it is exactly what most people do when they try to determine
which company would best suit their needs. Their first impression
is vitally important, which makes
it crucial for a company to communicate a strong, professional
image on the Web. On average, the decision whether to further explore
a company's web site is made within the first 10 seconds and is primarily
based on 3 criteria: attractiveness of the design, how quickly the
page loads, and how much of a chance the user believes he has to
find the information he or she is looking for.
Wildfire Design understands these issues and incorporates them in
every design. This includes the graphic design, the technical design,
and usability. We believe that this comprehensive approach is key
to a successful site. It is our goal to make an organization's presence
on the World Wide Web one that pays off.
